| Joe DeSena isn't just undertaking the one of the world's hardest endurance races -- the infamous Furnace Creek 508 -- he's biking across America to get to the start.
Joe will cycle from New York to Death Valley, California where he'll line up with some of the best cyclists around to race 508 miles within 48 hours with over 35,000 feet of elevation gain.
And in doing so, he'll be raising money to help AIDS Orphans Rising, a charity that provides children who have lost both parents to the AIDS virus by providing them education, food, shelter and the independent living skills that will enable them to support themselves and their families and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
