| Tommy Kane's 2nd Annual World Run Day Benefit for Kidneeds |
|
| Tommy Kane was diagnosed with DDD or Dense Deposit Disease (a.k.a. MPGN Type II) in 2007. DDD/MPGN II is a kidney disease that mainly affects children. The disease is extremely rare and considered to be an autoimmune disease. A non-profit group known as Kidneeds has been working on finding a cure for DDD/MPGN Type II. Research funding is extremely limited. Please visit the following website in order to learn more about Kidneeds and DDD / MPGN Type II:
http://www.medicine.uiowa.edu/kidneeds
All funds raised will go directly to KidNeeds.
Please feel free to walk or run with us on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Bensalem High School track. A 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 9:30 am, followed by a 5K (3.1 miles) walk/run at 10:00 am.
Your support is greatly appreciated. |
