| Titus Single Parent Mentoring is a community based charitable educational program located in Lakewood, CA. The purpose of Titus is to provide mentoring, support programs, and educational workshops to single parents, and their children at no cost.
It is our goal to bridge gaps of differences between parents to ensure that their focus is on the wholeness, safety, and well-being of their children. After parents and students have attended at least 3 free workshops held at the Long Beach Police Department, students are eligible for summer camp scholarships. Statistics prove that the majority of single parent homes lack the funds to send their children to summer camp. Thus leaving students as latch key children subject to gangs, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and teen pregnancy. Because of donors like you, Titus students attended the following summer camps this summer Marine Biology Camp-Aquarium of the Pacific, Camp Fire, Girl Scout's Camp, Flight camp, Long Beach Yacht Club's Sailing Camp, Billy Jean King's Tennis Camp, AC Green's Basketball Camp, overnight camps, Math Camp, Financial Park, and attended the following workshops:
