The Corner Health Center works to help young people make healthy choices which improve their lives now and in the future by offering a broad range of medical care, health education and support services to low-income, young people ages 12-21 and their children.
The Corner Health Center is Michigan's first, largest and most comprehensive teen health center. We educate at-risk teens on the long-range implications of their health behaviors, encourage them to develop responsible behaviors, and take responsibility for their own health. Doctors, nurses, social workers, nutritionists and other staff all have important roles in meeting the needs of the young people who seek our services.
Foundations, charitable organizations and government programs offer The Corner Health Center much support. We also count on people like you, who care about the future of these young people, to help sustain enriched intensive services.
We believe that all adolescents and their children deserve the best possible medical care. The Corner Health Center staff members care for and provide medical care for adolescents and their children, some who do not have health insurance.
Donations to The Corner Health Center are used to offset the costs of unreimbursed care. Gifts are also used to purchase equipment necessary for direct patient care.
