| Welcome to the Team Tracy page, where our goal is to raise $10,000 for ovarian cancer research.
Recently our friend Tracy Maxwell was diagnosed with Stage II ovarian cancer. Being so young, this was a shock to everyone. Now she is now about to undergo 3-4 months of chemotherapy.
Always an incredibly selfless individual, Tracy asked friends early on to make donations to the cause of cancer research instead of sending flowers to her home. Let's take this one step further and get all our friends to donate as well.
Our original goal was to raise $5,000 before September 1, 2006. We passed that goal in just 6 days! So we decided to kick it up another notch to $10,000. The idea is to raise money by competing in athletic races, holding fundraisers at local establishments, or just sending emails to friends and associates asking them to donate to this very worthwhile cause.
Tracy has a national network of friends, who she has always been willing to help out at any given moment. Let's holla back at her by saying "WE LOVE YOU" by raising some cash to hopefully end this disease altogether.
All donations made on this website will go directly to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. OCRF is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization devoted to the formulation of early diagnostic treatment programs and research toward the ultimate conquest of ovarian cancer.
