| My name is Matthew Coon and I am a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. My wife Lauren was in the North Carolina Army National Guard. More than 34,000 Military personnel have been injured in Combat Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan to date. Many of these brave men and women have suffered injuries from Improvised Explosive Devices (IED's), gun shot wounds, traumatic brain injuries and severe burns. Through Hope for the Warriors, you can make a difference. Hope for the Warriors was created to help with the way of life of our Wounded Veterans. Many of the projects that Hope for the Warriors have are the Warrior House, Homes that are complete with ramps, roll in showers and are designed to look and feel like their own home so that the temporary residents can spend time focusing on the needs of their loved ones. A Warrior wish, Wishes that fulfills a desire for quality of life beyond recovery and a quest for life gratifying endeavors. Whether realizing a dream to go hunting, ride a bike again or own a home adapted to their specialized needs. Help us today by donating to Hope for the Warriors (www.hopeforthewarriors.org) to help these young men and women. If you wish to donate by check, please contact me at my email ( MCOON@ec.rr.com ).Thank you all for your Support to the Men and Women who so bravely wear the Uniform. Join me today as I will be running for Team Hope for the Warriors this upcoming Spring, Summer and Fall to raise awareness and join the fight for our brave Men and Women living in our Country. With out them, Our very Freedom would not exist. Semper Fidelis |
