| On October 26th, I will be running the United States Marine Corps Marathon held in Washington, DC. Although this is an annual event hosted by the Marine Corps, it is a first for me.
I am running this marathon in order to raise money on behalf of a non-profit organization, Hope for the Warriors.
Hope for the Warrior’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for US service members and their families nationwide who have been adversely affected by injuries or death while in the line of duty.
I am running to honor those 1/6 Marines and Sailors wounded and killed during combat operations in Iraq, with whom I had the privilege to serve.
Please join me in assisting these brave heroes who gave so freely for each of us. Remember, freedom is not free. Those who have sacrificed for this great country should never be forgotten nor their needs unmet.
Please help us give new hope to these wounded warriors and their families. Thank you in advance for your contribution.
