On Oct 26, 2008 I will be running the Marine Corps Marathon. For those of you who may not know me and heard about this fundraiser through friends of friends, I am a former Marine, I have been married to a Marine for 24 years, my son-in-law is a Marine, and my youngest is currently at MCRD Parris Island training to become a Marine. We Marines like to take care of our own and we do a great job of it. However, it is organizations like "Hope for the Warriors" that take that next step and provide our Wounded Warriors and their families with the extra support and care that each of them deserves. I am running to raise funds for the Wounded Warriors who have been seriously injured while on active duty in support of the War on Terror.
