In an experience that will blend education, history, and cultural awareness, we will travel a route that has an infamous place in history, in an attempt to work together to break the cycle of poverty that so afflicts this country by providing QUALITY education to those in most need.
The Foundation For Tomorrow (TFFT) intends to garner support through a donor bike ride across Tanzania from Mount Kilimanjaro to the Indian Ocean following a 19th century slave trade and early explorers route. This is a stunningly diverse adventure tracing the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro down the slave routes, into the ancient Usambara Mountains and finally to the coastal town of Pangani, the gateway to the ancient routes. This challenge will test the riders physical limits as well as give each rider a first hand experience of TFFT’s work and how education can directly benefit Tanzanian communities.
This is an inspirational ride for those looking to experience the true beat of Tanzania, traveling through some of the most remote villages. Our riders will be able to use their words and influence to help our children. These are not simple goals but our riders will no doubt leave Tanzania more enlightened and equipped to speak on behalf of millions without a voice!
