It is estimated that 3-5 million people in the United States alone have an aneurysm and 1 in 200-500 have an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) in the brain. Most aneurysms and AVMs are discovered too late - only after hemorrhage which can cause death, long term deficits or permanent brain damage.
TAAF is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to bettering the lives, support networks, and medical care of those affected by aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain. All proceeds from the Annual Aneurysm and AVM Awareness Walk will support the work of The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation (TAAF).
