| My name is Karen Lynch and I'm a 39 year old two time breast cancer survivor.
Thanks for visiting my Stand Up For Survival! Virtual Walk page. If you've come this far, you probably already know that I am participating in the Young Survival Coalition’s first annual Virtual Walk for Survival. As the only international non-profit dedicated to the critical concerns and issues unique to young women and breast cancer, the YSC is committed to helping young women in the fight against breast cancer. Through action, advocacy and awareness, the YSC seeks to educate and influence the medical, research, legislative, media and breast health communities to address breast cancer in women 40 and under, and to serve as a point of contact for young women living with the disease.
The YSC's goal is to raise $250,000-- $1 for each woman in the United States who was under the age of 40 when diagnosed with breast cancer. This money will enable the YSC to continue and improve its programs and services designed specifically for young women with breast cancer nationwide and abroad.
I'm going to do my best to make sure that we reach that goal and I will need as much support as possible to make that happen. I'm hoping that you can help and be part of my support team. Please help in any way that you can by donating to this important cause. And, if you feel comfortable, please pass this website along to anyone who you think might be interested in donating to this important organization. All you have to do is click on the button "Invite Others to Contribute."
Thank you so much for your support!
The Young Survival Colation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, was founded by three young breast cancer survivors in 1998. For more information about the Young Survival Coalition visit www.youngsurvival.org
