| No one ever expects to have a child with special needs. I certainly never thought this would be my life. But when my second son was born, and we found out he has Down syndrome and required heart surgery, we were thrown into this world, like it or not.
I'll be honest. I'm still not fully okay with it. I'm not sure if I ever will be. But this one thing is true: I love my son with a fierce, protective love, deeper than anything I ever thought possible.
So when you pass a special education bus or see a child with special needs, think of my Benjamin. He is not just "one of those kids." He is MY kid. Please consider donating for this wonderful cause. Because all of these kids are someone's kids. |

| Thank you for supporting Area 4 Special Olympics. You have given a special athlete an opportunity he/she otherwise would not have. |
