to benefit hospitalized children in Israel. The entire community – children and adults, seniors and singles can come together to decorate SoaringQuilts® and SoaringPillows® to donate to hospitalized children in Israel.
Soaringwords is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity devoted to helping millions of ill children and their families heal. Soaringwords uses the power of the Internet supported by hands-on community service programs to help the entire family cope with catastrophic, chronic, or terminal illness.
Soaringwords was started six years ago when its founder, Lisa Honig Buksbaum, wanted to help others after her brother died and her father and son became seriously ill—within a ten month period. Her dad and son are fully recovered and, since then, Soaringwords has helped hundreds of thousands of ill children and families find strength and comfort through Soaringwords programs.
