Thank you for your interest in contributing to the Melanoma International Foundation!
Melanoma is one of the deadliest cancers to cure once it has spread, but one of the easiest to cure if it is caught early. Education is key to catching it early.
I was one of the lucky ones: my melanoma was caught when it was still in situ -- that is, it had not deepened much nor metastisized. As we participated in last year's walk-a-thon, my mother and I were sobered to realize that most of the teams were in honor of individuals who have died from melanoma. I'm glad you weren't there on a team honoring me! Instead, let's help others survive this disease like I have!
Stay safe in the shade.
Love and hugs,
