Each year, over 70,000 homeless pets are euthanized in LA area shelters for the simple lack of a good home. Participate in a beautiful 1 or 2-mile walk around Westchester Park to raise funds to help the animals. Your participation makes these life-saving programs possible: Pet adoption festivals, spay/neuter campaigns, feral cat spay/neuter clinics, The Brigade, supporting local grassroots organizations, shelter rescue and adoption, and community education.
Registration for the walk is $25 in advance / $30 at the event.

You can also rally your friends, family, and coworkers to pledge online and help save the thousands of homeless animals in L.A. After you've registered, you can sign up to be a fundraiser online as well. (You can also pledge the old-fashioned way with this downloadable form.)
The top fundraisers get prizes! 1st place: Wins a two night stay at Best Friends Animal Society and a VIP Tour*. 2nd place: Wins a Dyson Animal vacuum. 3rd place: Wins a one-year supply of Canidae Premium Dog Food.

Join us at the Finish Line Festival! After the walk, join us at the event stage for the awards presentations, then stay at Westchester Park for Best Friends' Summer Pet Adoption Festival from 11 am - 4 pm. There will be hundreds of homeless animals up for adoption along with music, kids' activities, dog agility demonstrations, celebrity guests, pet psychics, animal educators, a food court, lots of vendors and so much more.
Rules & Regulations: All dogs must be on a leash. Limit of two dogs per walker. All dogs must be healthy and friendly. No other animals allowed on the walk. Best Friends reserves the right to refuse entry to any person or dog. Top three fundraisers must be present to claim prizes. All monies pledged must be submitted and tallied by morning of walk to be eligible to receive top three prizes. *First prize does not include airfare, transportation and meals. Advanced reservations required.
