I hope this message finds you well. I am volunteering to bike 500 miles over six days in this year’s Tour des Trees in Chicago, Illinois. This fundraising event helps to raise money for the TREE Fund. The Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund (TREE Fund) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that identifies and funds projects and programs that advance knowledge in the field of arboriculture and urban forestry to benefit people, trees and the environment.

Along the way Tour des Trees riders participate in public education programs and tree planting events to help raise community awareness of the importance of urban and community trees and forests.

The Tour des Trees is the signature fundraising event of the TREE Fund and I have committed to raise $3,500 to support this cause. Please support my ride and my fundraising efforts for the TREE Fund with a tax-deductible donation.
