STIHL Tour des Trees to benefit the TREE Fund

Riding into the future of arboriculture

Welcome to the STIHL Tour des Trees to benefit the TREE Fund! From New York City's Central Park to Providence, RI's Roger Williams Park, the 2009 Tour promises a week of cycling, camaraderie, tree plantings and classic summer scenery in America's beautiful Northeast. Our community trees are besieged by insects, disease, weather and all the stressors that accompany life in an urban environment. They rely on environmentally aware citizens and trained tree-care professionals in order to survive and thrive! The money raised by the Tour des Trees underwrites the ongoing development of best practices for urban tree care professionals as well as tree care education for our children, to help them become good stewards of the "urban forests" of the future.
