| We are entering three teams (65LBS., 75LBS. & 85LBS) into DC Pop Warner Football League as well as three teams (Rookies, Minors & Majors) into DC Cal Ripken division of The Babe Ruth Baseball League for the 2006 season.
The Southeast Titans Youth Sports, Inc. was incorporated in January of 2006 to act and operate exclusively as a nonprofit corporation pursuant to the laws of the District of Columbia, and to act and operate as a charitable organization in lessening the burdens of government, providing relief of the poor and distressed or underprivileged, lessening of neighborhood tensions and combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency of children in Southeast, DC. We achieve this by enabling children of Southeast, D.C. to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, Southeast Titans programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children of Southeast, DC will use throughout their lives.
We intend to play our home game (football) at Anacostia High School and use Ketcham Elementary School as our practice field. Our baseball home games and practices will be held at Fort Stanton Recreation Center.
We are in the process of ordering our uniforms and equipment. Our players and cheerleader uniforms will resemble the Tennessee Titans.
