Kenneth Anthony Gibbon

Kenneth Anthony Gibbon, of Flower Mound, Texas, died Friday, October 10, 2008. He was 23 years old. Kenneth was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and moved to Texas with his family when he was 3. He enjoyed spending summers and winter holidays in Angel Fire, New Mexico, where he would hike through the Moreno Valley and snowboard for days. He graduated from Flower Mound High School and attended Northlake Community College before working full time. Kenneth was happiest “with a board in his hands,” as those close to him described. He could spend hours surfing or snowboarding, and exceled at both. He was a gentle, quiet person who was always quick with a joke when you least expected it. Kenneth is survived by his parents, Steve and Lynne Gibbon, and his sisters Katie and Barbara, and brother-in-law Daniel FitzPatrick. He is also survived by a very loving extended family and close network of friends. Kenneth was cremated on Wednesday, October 15. Donations in his honor can be made to SOS Outreach www.sosoutreach.org. Please visit www.flowermoundfuneralhome.com to leave condolences for Kenneth’s family.
