| The Villanova Safe from the Sun event was created to celebrate the lives of those who we have lost and those fighting melanoma. At the Safe from the Sun Walk & 5K Run, inside the Villanova Pavilion, we enjoy the kids dash kick-off, the 2 mile walk and the 5k race that winds around Villanova’s beautiful campus. Other inside activities include our skin cancer screening by dermatology professionals, a kids’ corner filled with fun activities, and a health & wellness expo. All funds from this event go to keeping our family/patient hotline/email assistance and patient forum running and to spread our mission through effective education programs for all ages. |
