Our Mission: To eradicate melanoma through the education of children and the community in the prevention and detection of skin cancer and the promotion of sun safety.

Come run with us! Join the "Run for SHADE" Team and help us raise needed funds and promote sun safety. SHADE is entering our third year as an official local charity of the P.F. Chang's Rock 'N' Roll Marathon in Arizona. Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 15th, 2006.

The racecourse starts in Phoenix, travels through Scottsdale and ends in Tempe. Plus, over 60 live bands will be playing along both the ½ and full marathon routes.

This year we are teaming up with RACELAB. Their expert training staff will help prepare our team for every aspect of marathoning. Training starts October 1st. So sign up TODAY. If you are not an athlete, then link to one of our participants pages and make a donation, any amount will help.
