| For more than 30 years, Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) has been committed to helping children and families in your neighborhood and in neighborhoods around the world. By creating, finding and supporting programs that directly improve the health and well being of children worldwide, RMHC is making a global impact on the most pressing problems facing families today. The Ronald McDonald House program serves as a home away from home where family members can sleep, eat, relax and find support from other families in similar situations. The Houses, which now number more than 275 in more than 30 countries, are supported by nearly 30,000 volunteers who annually donate more than three million hours of their time. The Ronald McDonald Family Room program provides an in-hospital haven for families, often located just steps away from a child's bedside. The Family Rooms provide a respite from the stressful hospital environment, where family members can rest, wash clothes, take a shower or take a nap. There are more than 120 Family Rooms in 13 countries. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program is a fleet of state-of-the-art vehicles that deliver cost-effective medical, dental and health education services directly to underserved children in their own neighborhoods. Unlike most mobile clinics, the Care Mobile was designed and built specifically as pediatric healthcare vehicles. It accommodates two patient examining rooms, a laboratory and a pharmacy. There are more than 30 Care Mobile programs in four countries. For more information, visit rmhc.org
