2011 Ride for Semper Fi

For the third year in a row I will be participating in the Ride for Semper Fi in support of our injured Marines. Our team will be cycling from Scottsdale on Oct.12 and arriving in San Diego on Oct. 16th.

As you donate, you touch the lives of our wounded and their families as they take the journey from the hospital, through rehab and finally back home. We have many wounded today coming back from Afghanistan that need our help.

The Semper Fi Fund is now seven years old and has assisted 6,000 injured service men/women and their families. Over 50 million dollars has been donated and over 30,000 grants given to our troops. Over 95% of your tax deductible dollars go to the wounded marines. The fund helps with many burdens for these families: mortgages, living expenses, wheelchairs, crutches and many other medical expenses. After physical recovery is complete the fund assists with education and retraining to help the soldiers get back to normal life and be independent.

Cycling expenses are covered by the individual rider or by corporate sponsorship. All donations are tax deductible. I am so passionate about this cause that I will personally match your donation - dollar for dollar.
