When He Let Us Know

Last year as we started the Ride For Semper Fi, one of our injured servicemen started out like the rest of us - with zest for a worthy cause - one we could respond to by riding. By the time we got to the first stop at 30 miles, he was quietly beside himself. His physical limitations were, in fact, limiting him. But he let one of my teammates know. It wasn't hard to rally around him for the rest of the 370+ miles. And we did and he made it - along with the rest of us. If he hadn't let us know, he would have suffered in isolation and perhaps quit. But he did let us know, we are able to help, he finished, and we all got to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. I am letting you know - I need your help! I am riding from Scottsdale to San Diego again. I need your financial support so we can help injured service-people and their families. Don't wait for someone else to help.
