Welcome to my 2010 Ride for Semper FI Fundraising Page.
This October I will be participating in the Ride for Semper FI. The Ride for Semper FI is a charity bicycle ride that begins in Scottsdale, Arizona and ends in San Diego, California. The ride is 4 days of riding covering 430 miles. As you all know I dedicated over 20 years of my life to the Marine Corps and retired as a Master Sergeant. I am training hard and giving everything for this ride to help my fellow brothers and sisters returning from harm’s way.
Why ride the Ride for Semper FI?
To help Marines returning from harm’s way that have been injured in combat or who suffer from life threatening illnesses. These Marines come home and face struggles we can not imagine.
What does Semper FI mean?
Latin for "always faithful," Semper Fidelis became the Marine Corps motto in 1883. It guides Marines to remain faithful to the mission at hand, to each other, to the Corps and to country, no matter what..
Semper Fidelis distinguishes the Marine Corps bond from any other. It goes beyond teamwork – it is a brotherhood and lasts for life.
What is the Injured Marine Semper Fund?
The Injured Marine Semper FI Fund is a non-profit 501C3 organization established to provide financial aid and quality of life solutions to injured Marines and Sailors.
The Fund depends on the generosity and compassion of people from all walks of life to join our quest of “serving those who preserve our freedom.”
When you pledge your gift you will be giving to those Marines who have made the ultimate commitment and sometimes the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our way of life and our freedom. I sincerely thank you in advance for your gift.
