| I am so proud to be able to embark on the 2010 Ride for Semper Fi. As most of you that have ended up on this page know, this ride and fundraising effort hold a very special place in my heart. Being able to see what YOUR donations have done to change the lives of our injured soldiers is nothing short of amazing. I am tasked with the job of raising funds, awareness, and making the commitment of completing this ride. Without YOU and your donations I end up nowhere, so for that I thank you all. The original 22 of us left Scottsdale, AZ in October 2008 and in the two campaigns since we have been successful in raising more than $250,000.00 for our friends and partners at the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. The IMSFF is a private sector, non-profit 501C3 organization established to provide financial aid and quality of life solutions to injured Marines and Sailors who have been injured in battle or who suffer from life threatening illnesses. Since the inception of the fund the IMSFF has provided more than 18000 grants and 38 million dollars to those who have so bravely defended our liberties and freedoms. For 2010 we will once again be seen on the roads of Arizona and California riding in honor of those who have sacrificed for our freedoms. As a team we will be 50 strong for this year with a fund raising goal of $177,500 dollars. Again, thank you for your support, it is truly appreciated by the men and women of our armed forces. |
