| The Lerner Research Institute is among the top 10 recipients of funding from the National Institutes of Health among research institutes or independent hospitals. Lerner employs more than 1,100 scientists, faculty, postdoctoral fellows, students, technologists and support staff all working towards one goal - finding diagnoses, treatments and preventative strategies for some of humankind's most devastating diseases.
