| Welcome to Team Congo--Washington DC 2010. Volunteers in cities across and beyond the US are hard at work planning Run for Congo Women events in their communities. These events raise local awareness about the Congo while raising funds for Women for Women International's Congo program. Funds raised here benefit the entirety of our DR Congo program and cannot be applied to a sponsorship of a woman in our program. ASEDWA (Achieving Social and Economic Developement for Women in Africa) is very pleased to promote WFW in our nations capitol in Washington DC to encourage individuals support Congolese women and to join in a growing movement.
