Running to rid the world of breast cancer
Dear Friend, According to the American Cancer Society, more than 182,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed among American women in 2008. I think we all know someone who has or has had breast cancer - it's a society-wide epidemic. I have chosen to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer by running the 2008 Chicago Marathon and raising much needed funds for Breast Cancer Network of Strength Illinois (formerly Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization). I am asking you to help in this endeavour. I have committed to raise $850 for the Breast Cancer Network of Strength Charity but my personal goal is to raise $1,500 for this wonderful organization. With your help, I know I can do it!

Susan DeGregorio Hidden "Peter. This is a wonderful undertaking -- one of my best girfriends just finished her chemo/radiation therapy and it is through all the advances that she was diagnosed early and hopefully chances of recurrence are slim. Good luck (I ran Chicago two years ago and it is a great race)! Susan."
