| Hi everyone and welcome to my fundraising web page! I am running my first marathon in Chicago this fall. It is a huge challenge, but what is keeping me motivated is that I am running it with Pink Streak. Pink Streak is an awesome team described by its website as, "the Y-ME Illinois Bank of America Chicago Marathon team, but Pink Streak is more than a team, it’s a movement, a movement in the fight against breast cancer". Once you have learned a bit more about the cause please consider making a donation to me and this incredible foundation. Unfortunately Breast Cancer touches too may lives. This journey, I am embarking on, is my own personal fight against the disease. I do not know what it is like to have or fight breast cancer, but I do know the pain and helplessness of watching a loved one fight Breast Cancer. I know that my training and running of 26 miles will be nothing compared to the fight that countless women have fought and fight everyday, but I can only hope that in some small way it will make a difference. |
