| My family and I are one of many that have been affected by Breast Cancer. My Grandmother, Maria, fought the disease twice, with the love and support of her family and friends. In memory and honor of her, as well as all other victims of the disease, I have chosen to run for the Breast Cancer Network of Strength Pink Streak Team in this year's Chicago Marathon. This is my effort to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer, ensuring that no one faces the disease alone. While scientists work to find a cure for the disease, Network of Strength works to help those victims that can't wait for tomorrow's cure by providing several programs free of charge to breast cancer patients. We have all been affected by this disease in some way, so I am asking your help in my effort to make a difference! Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Together we can make an impact in the lives of those touched by breast cancer! |
