Grandma hamming it up.

I am running the 2008 Chicago Marathon with the Pink Streak Team. It is only fitting that I run for the Network of Strength as my life has been shaped by strong women. My grandmother Peggie Grewett was a feisty red haired woman who could do anything she wanted. She taught me how to sew, how to play cards, and how not to take no for an answer. Grandma passed away at the age of 56 after her second battle with breast cancer. I am running to raise money for women who are facing cancer but I am also running because its the kind of crazy thing my Grandma would want me to do.
