Canine demonstrations in the dog rink will delight both you and your pooch, while additional activities take to the stage, providing lots of fun for all.
You won’t want to miss this year’s Rescued Dog Reunion Photo to recognize our now best friends adopted out of shelters, from rescue groups and off the streets within our community!
Rent-a-Shelter-Dog for the day and give her the chance to be seen by hundreds of potential adopters as well as have a ton of doggy fun! Call 423-624-5302 x228 by October 7th with donation of $50 to reserve one of 15 lucky doggies!

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
COST:
FREE - When you raise $100 in Pledges!
$15 - Unaccompanied Walker (no dog…maybe you only have cats at home?)
$25 - Individual Walker (you and your dog)
$40 - Family Walkers (2 Adults, 2 Dogs + Children)
$50 – Walk with a Shelter Dog (You MUST call 423-624-5302 x228 to reserve a dog…see details above)
TIMES & GOODIE BAGS: Day of event registration begins at 1 p.m. Each individual walker receives a goodie bag that includes a t-shirt, special pooch bandana (unless walking unaccompanied) and some miscellaneous fun treats and items. Each family receives two goodie bags with registration!
PRE-REGISTER: Enjoy a super-speedy registration process when you pre-register on-line or at HES! Just go directly to pick-up your goodie bag in the “pre-registered line” with a copy of your receipt (which will be emailed to you)! Also, registering online allows you to qualify for some super, awesome door prizes. The special pre-registered line opens at 1:15 pm. Deadline for online pre-registration is noon on Thursday, October, 7th.
RAISE THE MOST PLEDGES: Individuals and teams will win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for the most funds raised! Paws in the Park welcomes teams from your organization, business, work, school, church or club. Raise $100 and registration is free and you receive a special gold bandana for your dog, too!
CREATE YOUR OWN FUNDRAISING PAGE: Create a fundraising page with your own personal message about helping the animals in Hamilton County. Then ask your friends, family, classmates, teammates and co-workers to sponsor your walk or just your passion (if you'd rather not walk)! Walk for free with $100 in pledges! NOTE: If you plan to raise $100 or more, do not register online. Simply create your Fundraising Page and register in person at HES or wait to register at the event for free entry! CREATE A TEAM OF WALKERS: Create a fundraising page with your team’s message about helping the animals in Hamilton County. Then ask your friends, family, classmates, teammates and co-workers and their best friends (of course) to join!
ASK FRIENDS TO HELP: Ask your friends online to sponsor your walk with pledges by clicking on “Invite Others To Contribute” link at the top of the page. Friends may also register the day of the event under your name or your team at 1 PM.

MAKE A CONTRIBUTION: Enter an amount in the “Make a Contribution” box (at the bottom of the page) if you can’t participate but want to support our Getting to Zero Campaign.

In addition to our Getting to Zero Campaign, this year’s PIP funds will complete the the Humane Educational Society’s new education center "Weezie's Way...the path to kindness". Weezie’s Way is in need of computers and supplies for our one of a kind “kid kindness” training. Our goal at HES is to teach our community's kids to be animal heroes by empowering them with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions now and as humane adults.
