| Hello All,
I have always wanted to run the Army Ten-Miler in Washington, D.C., and this year will be a special year for the Moak family, as my father is running the race as an Army officer for the last time. He will retire as a Colonel with over 40 years of service to our great country. A few months ago, my dad asked my brother and I to run this race with him, and I requested that we use this race to raise money for a great cause. Our country has been at war for several years now and many children have parents that have paid the ultimate price for the freedom that we enjoy every day.
The 2009 No Greater Sacrifice Endurance Team's mission is focused. We run to support the education of four children: Zach (age 8), Levi (age 6), Sam (age 5) and Hannah (age 3).
Their father, Staff Sergeant William S. Jackson II, passed away after an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle in Ramadi, Iraq, on November 11, 2006 while on a mission supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

As a Sergeant in the Alabama Army National Guard, I can think of no greater honor than to run this race in remembrance of a fallen soldier. Please help me reach my goal of $2000 for the education of this soldier's children.
