Year after year we are humbled and amazed by the generosity and support of our family and friends. I'll be thinking of you all as I run the Disney Half-Marathon this weekend with the NF Endurance Team. Noah told me that he wants me to come in 1000th place or less. With 15,000 people starting in front of me, it's a tall order, but I'll give it my all. And thank you, everyone, for giving your all to our efforts to end NF for Noah and the millions affected around the world.

My name is Frank Tyrybon. My wife Shannon and I will never stop running and raising funds to solve the puzzle of NF that afflicts 2 million people worldwide and our 7 year old son, Noah. Noah was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis when he was 10 months old. We've had incredible support over the last few years from family, friends, doctors, teachers, the NF Endurance Team, and the Children's Tumor Foundation. And while we've had a few scares, we're very fortunate to say that so far Noah has shown no evidence of tumor growth or other serious effects of NF. But we know that without a succesful treatment or cure, Noah will be at risk his entire life.
This year, as a member of the NF Endurance Team, I will continue to raise research dollars and train to run both the Detroit Marathon and Disney Half-Marathon. Along the way, we will continue to put on some great events including Bowling with Noah, the CTF Garage Sale, and Concert for Noah (www.concertfornoah.com) to achieve our goal for 2010.
A special thanks to our cousin Brittany Koniarz for coordinating a golf outing this year as well. Everyone had a great time and it was a fantastic success!
NF (Neurfibromatosis) is a genetic disorder that can cause tumors to grow on nerves anywhere in the body, including the brain and spinal cord. It can lead to blindness, deafness, chronic pain, disfigurement, learning disabilities, and a wide range of complications.
All the money we raise goes to the Childrens Tumor Foundation (www.ctf.org) a non-profit organization that funds the most promising research to find a cure.

Below is a video from the Children’s
Tumor Foundation that demonstrates how your support benefits nearly
2 million people worldwide that are affected by Neurofibromatosis. I
hope you’ll please take a few minutes to watch the video and perhaps
be as motivated as we are to support The Children’s Tumor
