Each day in Sacramento, there is a small army of people that have no place to call their own, they are homeless.
Fortunately, in our community, there is a safe place for homeless children where they continue their education and feel cherished and valuable-The Mustard Seed School. This wonderful school is an affiliate of Loaves and Fishes and relies solely on private donations to provide services to the neediest children in our midst.
The Mustard Seed Spin is a charity bike ride benefiting the Mustard Seed School. The ride is organized by volunteers in the community and is in its 5th year. At the Mustard Seed Spin, children and their families ride along the beautiful American River Parkway for a stretch of 13 to 20 miles, depending on fitness level. Last year the Mustard Seed Spin raised $29,000 for the Mustard Seed School! |
