The MS Young Professionals will be climbing Mt. Beirstadt August 21st as a part of the Multiple Summits 4 MS. Multiple Summits for Multiple Sclerosis is a program of Chasing Dreams for MS. This August, summit a peak for MS while raising much- needed funds for the Rocky Mountain MS Center.
Personally, this is my first 14ner to climb and I am extremely grateful that this can be part of a great cause. We had a kickoff meeting at REI Flagship Store where we met well-known and accomplished climber, Wendy Booker, who lives with MS. What a great inspiration for all. From diagnosis with MS & 0 climbing experience, she’s gone on to climb 6 ½ of the 7 highest summits on each continent.
