| The Family Care Network is a private, nonprofit children and families services agency, serving California’s Central Coast through 17 unique programs designed to strengthen and preserve individuals and families. Our mission is to enhance the wellbeing of children and families in partnership with our community. In the agency’s 22 year history, its programs have grown to serve over 1,800 children, youth and families annually in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.
Primary program funding sources are often restricted in scope, covering direct services and limited basic needs (shelter, clothing, medical expenses, etc.) of those we serve. Your pledges helps the Family Care Network fulfill our goal to provide services that go beyond primary program funding in order to assure the success of all those we serve. These services can include anything from music lessons for a young child to helping a foster youth transition from system dependence to adult independence to ensuring a child or family receives essential support to be successful. Your pledge dollars provide direct services to this often over-looked population—filling in critical gaps in service.
