| The American Red Cross of Central Texas is a humanitarian organization who helps victims in nine counties (Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Lee, Llano, Milam, Travis and Williamson) recover from disasters such as fires, floods, tornadoes and other crisis situations. The organization helps Central Texans prepare for disasters and learn lifesaving techniques such as first aid and CPR. They also provide emergency communication and financial assistance for military families in the region. In 2007, they served 42,168 people in need, all from Central Texas. Your sponsorship will offer hope to local victims who face disaster and enable the American Red Cross of Central Texas to reach out to those who need help the most. |
