| Hillcrest Transitional Housing is an Official Charity of the 2008 Hospital Hill Run! Sign up today to particpate in the UMKC School of Medicine 5K, 10K, or The Hospital Hill Half Marathon, and you will be eligible for a discounted entry fee, just by registering through Hillcrest!
Once registered for an event, we ask that all participants try and raise pledge dollars to help the homeless families in the Hillcrest Transitional Housing program achieve their goal of self-sufficiency. Every dollar you raise will directly benefit the hundreds of homeless single mothers with children, two-parent families, and individuals who enter the Hillcrest program each year.
Hillcrest provides homeless families with rent & utility free housing, on-site food & needs pantry, weekly educational life-skills classes (budgeting, case management, nutrition, parenting, tenant/landlord relations), access to free & reduced cost professional services, and the opportunity to break the poverty-welfare cycle, and never be homeless again.
