| Welcome to my fundraising page for the 2010 Kentucky Derby Marathon. I'm so excited you stopped by!
Since having my son in 2004, I have become something of a child advocate...nothing public or dramatic, I simply "get it" when people talk about children suffering. I imagine my own son in that situation and it breaks my heart. I also realize how very blessed I am to have such an amazing, healthy child. I know everyone isn't so blessed.
That's why I want to raise money for Kosair Children's hospitals. These hospitals provide medical care for children w/ simple to serious problems...and they do it w/o concern for how a parent will pay. When your child is sick, the last thing you want to hear is that they can't be helped because you can't afford the care. These hospitals also help w/ lodging for parents that are away from home due to a child's serious illness. They offer full support to the family.
