| The Seattle Animal Shelter’s (SAS) Help the Animals Fund helps to provide veterinary care for sick, injured, and abused orphaned animals. The fund is a humanitarian effort; all proceeds go directly towards improving the lives of the animals. SAS’ veterinary expenses total over $100,000 per year. The Help the Animals Fund relies solely on donations from individuals, companies and SAS fundraising events such as the Furry 5K, so we continue to need everyone’s help to maintain the fund. Without the Help the Animals Fund many of our shelter animals would be considered “lost causes.” |
