| I am running the 'City of Oaks' half marathon in Raleigh,NC on November 4th. All money we raise will be going to the 'Hope For The Warriors' foundation. I say we beacause my good friend,Eric Morphis, is helping to raise the money. He was going to run with me but suffered a knee injury that required surgery. I am a Staff Seargent in the Marine Reserve and have been to Iraq twice. Eric is a Pastor at a church in Statesville,NC and is a very patriotic supporter of the military. Earlier this year we got together and decided we needed to do something to help the wounded veterans. We figured our best way to raise money would be to run. These Warriors were wounded protecting our freedom, lets do something to help them out. Your contribution won't erase their injuries but it will provide assistance during their recovery. Thank you all for you support. |
