| Welcome to the fundraising page for the Denver Gorilla Run. There's no doubt that the Gorilla Run and going for the Guinness World Record is a lot of fun, but by getting all suited up and raising money for the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund, you will also be helping tackle a serious issue. Right now, there are approximately 740 highly endangered mountain gorillas left in the world. This precious handful of gorillas is targeted by poachers, illegal game hunters, threatened by the effects of civil war, human disease and faces losing its beautiful forest habitat as a result of deforestation and human encroachment. Your donation will be counted towards your runners total fundraising. When you are checking out, simply include the runners name in who you are making a contribution for. The total amount will be tallied and announced during the run. Please help as the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund is an international charity working to save the world's last remaining mountain gorillas and keeping Dian Fossey’s dream alive for the past 24 years. We are a US registered non-profit and all donation are 100% tax deductable. |
