AIDS Foundation Houston, Inc. (AFH) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1982 with a mission to create positive social impact through the innovative management of HIV/AIDS and other chronic diseases. In the last year, AFH served more than 5,800 men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS and reached over 50,000 individuals through HIV prevention education campaigns. AFH collaborates with more than 100 community agencies to provide outreach, education, and client services. Proceeds from the Houston Marathon will be dedicated to helping improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by the disease. |
