Epilepsy Alliance / Destination: Seizure Free

Chances are, we all know someone with epilepsy, which affects 1 in 50 children and 1 in 100 adults. In Orange County alone, there are an estimated 12,000 children with epilepsy! Because of the stigma historically associated with this condition, it is often kept secret.

The stress of having epilepsy affects the entire family as it is a chronic disease often associated with a negative emotional and financial impact.

Epilepsy Alliance of Orange County Helps Children with Epilepsy

Our programs provide children with epilepsy and their families knowledge, empowerment, guidance and hope as they face this complicated, chronic – and sometimes deadly – medical condition. We are the only organization in Orange County that provides programs and services specifically for children with epilepsy.

Through education, support and advocacy, we are giving these kids a chance for the seizure-free life that they deserve.
