Know the Facts.....
Each year more than 20,000 new cases of ovarian cancer are diagnosed and over 15,000 deaths will occur. Currently, there is no reliable test for ovarian cancer, and only 19% is found in the early stages. A Pap Test does not detect ovarian cancer !
Ovarian cancer is the 5th leading cause of cancer related deaths in women age 35-74 and can affect women of all ages and ethnic backgrounds. An estimated 1 in 58 women will develop ovarian cancer in her lifetime. |
