| ABOUT THE RACE:
This race was first held in June 2003. It was organized by a student from Souderton Area High School as a graduation project. The student was inspired to organize the race because her grandfather has been afflicted with Parkinson's disease for over fourteen years now. With the help of her family, community members, township officials and many volunteers, this race is now held annually.
