| I would like to ask your help in a very important project. The Connecticut Physician Assistant Foundation (CT PAF) is the non-profit philanthropic arm of the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants (ConnAPA). Since 1980, we have awarded over $84,000 in scholarships to physician assistant students.
The CT PAF has worked very hard with the physician assistants in the state to achieve maximum PA contributions through dues renewal, annual giving campaign, raffles, and named scholarships. In addition, we have been fortunate enough to receive generous support from our local businesses and pharmaceutical companies.
I am writing this letter to you to ask for your help in securing a donation for the 2009-2010 CT PAF Scholarship campaign. All donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated! A donation of $500 or more will bear the name of the donor for a specific scholarship award. Scholarship winners are announced at the annual ConnAPA business luncheon meeting at the Charter Oak Conference.
