| I came across Climb for Hope in 2006 when I recieved a donation letter from a great high school friend, Ashley Anderson. The idea of Climb For Hope immediately grabbed my attention. Having two grandmothers survive breast cancer opened my eyes to the importance of finding a cure. Climb For Hope seemed to be the perfect answer. Climb For Hope is a not-for-profit corporation designed to raise awareness of issues relating to breast cancer and to raise funds for breast cancer research and treatment. CFH fulfills its mission in part by coordinating group expeditions to climb some of the world’s highest mountains and to ensure CFH volunteers receive proper training for these expeditions. In June of 2008 Myself and 20 others will be Climbing Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Kilimanjaro is 19,480 feet tall. This should be an amazing experience.
